To serve the citizens and visitors to the Municipality of the District of Chester by making it a safer place to live and work by providing protection of life, property, and the environment from the effects of fires, medical emergencies, and all hazards within our communities.

Committed to maintaining a constant state of readiness, we will deliver emergency services in a rapid, professional, cost effective, and humanitarian manner.

Through our involvement in our communities we provide guidance and education on fire prevention and promote public awareness on fire safety.

ABOUT OUR WEBSITE

On our website you will find useful information on each of our individual Fire Departments. Many of our departments have hall facilities that are also available for community. Our volunteers participate in many community activities, support important charities and sponsor several special events each year for you and your family to enjoy.

We have included several sections on Health and Safety to keep you advised on the ways you can help to keep your home and family safe throughout the year. Likewise, our section on Product Recalls provides valuable information on products which may pose a burn safety issue, or fire hazard.

As we strongly believe in the benefit of educating our children in fire safety and prevention, we have included additional information and provided some great learning activities.
