Fire Department

The Hubbards Fire Department currently has four modern fire fighting apparatus. This apparatus consists of a Pumper, Tanker and two fully equipped Rescue units. The apparatus is capable of responding to all emergency fire calls within Hubbards and assists our neighboring communities on mutual aid calls. The Rescue units provides response to forestry incidents, medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents and provides support at all fire scenes.

Engine 331 is a 2004 International Superior with a 1050 IGPM pump. It has a 900 gallon water tank on board and has a 30 gallon foam system. The Pumper is the First Response Unit on all fire and emergency calls. The unit also carries 5 SCBA units, vehicle extraction equipment for response to motor vehicle accidents (MVA), deck gun, thermal imaging camera, generator, and lifepak defibrillator.

Tanker 351 is a 2009 ROSENBAUER Tanker purchased through Cardinal Fire & Safety in Bridgewater. It has a 1550 gpm waterous pump with 2500 gallons of water on board plus twin 20 gal foam tanks (A&B) that can add up to 10 percent foam concentration. The unit is powered by a CAT C13 470HP Diesel Engine and has a Allison 45 EVS 5 speed automatic transmission with a three stage Jake brake system. Some of the added options on the new unit include a 5000 watt Honda generator, remote monitor with foam capability, 2000 ft of high volume hose,and a self lowering 3000 gallon port a tank.

Rescue 324 is a 2014 Ford F350 6.7 liter 4X4 with 4 wheel drive. It has a 12,000 lb winch,vehicle extrication equipment and full medical response equipment.This is the main truck for medical and rescue emergencies.

Utility / Response 361 is a 1998 Dodge Ram 3500 4X4. The unit is the main forestry truck for the summer months and the medical response unit equipped for the winter months. It carries a 500 gpm portable pump on board.
